Position Description

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a corporate communications supervisor. The corporate communications supervisor is a member of the team that supports SRC and its family of companies. The role is responsible for building awareness of the SRC brand through community relations as well as the development of compelling internal communications. This person should be a self-starter who is resourceful, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, balance tactical progress, and move toward strategic objectives. The corporate communications supervisor is a proactive, self-motivated leader who can assess business needs, make suggestions for improvements, and develop strategic communication plans to enhance the great place to work culture already established.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of challenges related to capturing attention amidst the information overload that exists in today’s digital world. He/she should be well versed in writing, graphic design, and have strong interpersonal skills to support the team and to interact with community leaders. Essential to this position are strong verbal and written communication skills and being highly collaborative.


  • Produce (from copywriting through production) multifaceted content (presentation slides, social media, intranet, posters, etc.) that resonate with target audiences and provide clear and compelling communications
  • Oversee a robust events calendar to enhance the employee experience
  • Recommend, create, and implement best practice policies, procedures, and processes
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in the community and at all levels within the company
  • Adhere to both the company and Associated Press Style guides
  • Manage the development and execution of internal communication campaigns - educating, inspiring and engaging employees in support of key business strategies
  • Utilize agility to re-prioritize as needed and assist with change management
  • Take constructive input from multiple sources and deliver results
  • Influence and obtain buy-in while managing stakeholders’ expectations
  • Lead an experienced team to make the most efficient use of resources and skillsets
  • Get maximum impact by setting an example of professionalism and motivate others to overcome obstacles
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several projects simultaneously, prioritizing to deliver on all deadlines and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Track and report on corporate communications responsibilities

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Solid understanding of communications and 12 or more years of demonstrated success
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe imaging software
  • Digital communications and marketing, web design, or journalism background is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong proofreading and copy editing proficiency in a fast-paced communications environment
  • Proven supervisory experience with sound understanding of developing highly functioning team
  • Community relations experience and background in connecting employees to volunteering
  • Ability to synthesize ideas and transform them into compelling, clear communications
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and still be meticulous about the details
  • Ability to build relationships and work with various teams in a collaborative environment
