Position Description

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a talent acquisition manager who will align recruiting strategy with our business strategy, deliver best practices for recruitment activities, and deliver top talent to our business. They will be responsible for directing recruiting efforts of a team of talent acquisition professionals that supports defense and commercial opportunities within the SRC enterprise. This is an exciting time to join SRC as we are experiencing tremendous growth in support of challenges of national significance.  

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with human resources (HR) management and business leadership to align talent acquisition strategy with business strategy and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Direct activities, serve as subject matter expert to the talent acquisition team, and allocate the appropriate level of resources to execute on recruiting strategies
    • Foster a positive and engaging work environment for the team
  • Manage the recruitment process and life-cycle, including initial assessments, interviews and offers to deliver the best talent
    • Will include job posting optimization, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, use of social media, internet sourcing, employment marketing methods, comprehensive recruitment campaign planning, etc.
  • Manage recruitment budget
  • Build applicant pool by networking through industry contacts, association memberships, and employees to nurture relationships with prospective talent
    • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
    • Create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers and interview teams to assess workforce planning needs, define job requirements, and ensure candidates are assessed against job requirement criteria
  • Develop reports and metrics to track performance on staffing initiatives, quality of hire, time to fill, and reports for compliance with federal, state and local statutes
    • Analyze results and make recommendations based on analysis
  • Develop relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms
    • Foster partnerships with community-based organizations to expand the organization's diversity outreach and objectives
  • Ensure recruiting policies and practices comply with laws and regulations including, but not limited to, EEO, FCRA, and ADA
    • Support affirmative action compliance and reporting
  • Maintain knowledge of the most current recruiting practices and trends
  • Serve as applicant tracking systems administrator with intent to prepare staff for role

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of related business experience and at least seven years of recruiting experience; PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience managing other employees
  • Demonstrated experience in developing recruitment strategies and building strong partnerships with business leaders
  • Advanced knowledge of recruiting techniques to identify qualified candidates
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing systems
  • Understanding of recruitment technology landscape
  • Self-directed, and able to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to manage staff virtually
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment analytics
  • Effective collaboration, negotiation and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to influence business leaders
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations that impact employment, including EEO, FCRA and ADA
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
