Position Description

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a manufacturing program manager to provide leadership and support for the execution of programs. SRCTec’s innovative programs provide for new product development, product upgrades/enhancements, depot/field service support, training, installations, and production/engineering. Customers are primarily the Department of Defense and other government agencies, along with a growing international market.


  • Lead cross functional resources towards the successful execution of awarded manufacturing contracts to include:
    • Delivering manufacturing contracts on-time to the customer and on budget to the business with respect to both material and labor
    • Resolving resource constraints and/or conflicts that affect multiple projects/efforts within the associated program
    • Aligning the manufacturing program objectives to the organizational and strategic goal
    • Resolving issues and effectively managing change within both a given program and the manufacturing organization
  • Develop future leaders though coaching and mentoring within the manufacturing organization
  • Lead and support efforts for proposal development by responding to proposal requests for ongoing and new efforts, and supporting business development activities for the product line
  • Work directly with process engineers and manufacturing engineers to define manufacturing requirements for new product lines and existing product line reconfigurations
  • Support internal company activities such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance audits, program management reviews, financial reviews, and process improvement initiatives

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management or other manufacturing-related discipline (master's degree preferred)
  • 10 or more years of experience in a high-mix low-volume manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience with continuous improvement tools (lean, 5S and visual management)
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, have excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Must be self-reflective and desire to improve one’s own performance; also must be able to effectively display empathy in difficult situations
  • Must be able to be an effective decision maker (objective and pragmatic) as well as follow a structured approach to both problem solving and daily task management
