SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a communications intern to work Tuesdays and Thursdays at our headquarters in Syracuse, N.Y. starting on October 2, 2017. As a corporate communications intern, you will be responsible for various duties that include writing, event planning, graphic design and miscellaneous support tasks to help us execute communications projects, both internally and externally.
Assist with daily business operations including graphic design, writing, research and general office duties
Currently enrolled in a degree program in graphic design, communications, journalism or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or above
Must be available to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the academic year
Demonstrated interest in communications and/or graphic design
Must have attention to detail and a desire to learn
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) desired
Must have strong communication (verbal and written) and technical skills
Must have the ability to work both independently and within a team atmosphere
Must be resourceful and able to investigate solutions to problems on their own before involving others
