SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a principal radar systems engineer. The successful candidate for this position will provide leadership and direction for existing radar programs, new concepts and internal development projects, and also provide support for business development activities. SRC has developed some very successful radar and electronic systems, including the LCMR system, a lightweight counter-mortar radar, and the CREW Duke counter-IED EW system. Both of these have been named to the U.S. Army’s Top 10 Inventions list.
More recently, we have developed a state-of-the-art counter-UAS system called Silent Archer. SRC is working with many cutting-edge radar technologies including Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Multiple-Input Multiple Output (MIMO), and Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA). We are also working on applying the latest Machine Learning techniques to radar target recognition problems.
Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, math or physics is required
At least 20 years of experience with radar system engineering is required
Must have strong technical writing and presentation skills
Experience in leadership or mentoring roles is preferred
Must be willing to travel up to 10 percent to visit customers and government test sites
