Position Description
SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a level two information management technical analyst who will be responsible for providing on-site support at the NRO Library in Chantilly, Va. In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the existing records, the Information Management Program (RIM), and the Library Program. Additionally, you will provide information system consulting services to include business process analysis, work flow/information flow studies, and development of information systems, which meet corporate and customer business requirements and information management standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate proposals regarding new information management policies, procedures, systems and programs
  • Provide information management guidance to systems developers and program managers
  • Develop, implement and interpret information management policies, procedures and practices related to information systems
  • Research and analyze technical issues related to information systems
  • Brief management, customers and intelligence community (IC) partners on information systems topics and issues, and give presentations to NRO and IC boards and forums
  • Participate in identifying NRO requirements for information management education
  • Participate in teaching information management and classification classes, including the development of course lesson plans and instructional material
  • Serve as adviser to senior managers and customers in regard to information management as it relates to information systems
  • Redesign and maintain the NRO Library’s virtual presence (e.g., website)
  • Support the development of processes to support to the NRO directorates and offices
  • Develop and deliver training for targeted audiences, such as researchers, engineers, and business personnel on NRO Library resources, services and search techniques
  • Serve as a liaison between the NRO Library and NRO IT personnel for NRO Library hardware, software and other electronic material
  • Provide support to various NRO Library projects to include the preparation of bibliographies and finding aids, research guides, written reports, marketing materials, PowerPoint briefings, meeting minutes and agendas

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or business administration
  • Seven plus (7+) years of relevant experience working within a federal acquisition setting with a strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or NRO Acquisition Manual (NAM)
  • One or more security certifications (i.e. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM))
  • Technical experience identifying IA requirements and potential investment opportunities as part of the IT acquisition and project management development process
  • Knowledge of NIST Special Publication 800 series (SP 800-137, SP 800-53, SP 800-37)
  • Strong communicator and creative player with strong teamwork skills
  • Strong networking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain consensus with multi-discipline teams across organizational/functional lines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide technical feedback, guidance and advice during teleconferences and meetings
  • Proficient in technical writing and able to successfully communicate in person and on the phone with both technical and acquisition specialists
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data sets, determine trends, and recommend plans of action
  • Ability to understand complex organizational responsibilities and maintain appropriate contact with others

Preferred Requirements

  • Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS)

Security Clearance Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen. An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and current CI polygraph are required.
